Colorado County Agents Association (CCAA) membership allows extension professionals to engage in a professional organization that tailors to their professional responsibilities while engaging in professional development, collaboration, and networking. Membership in CCAA also means that you are signed up for National membership as well.
Membership dues are $100 annually and are paid in the fall. As previously mentioned, these dues include both state and national membership. Dues can be paid with a credit card online or by mailing a check to: Christine Schinzel – CCAA Treasurer, Lincoln County Extension, Box 68, Hugo, CO 80828.
The national organization membership provides additional professional development, educational international travel events, scholarship, awards, networking, and more. You can login to your member account to learn about professional development, apply for awards, update contact information, and apply for scholarships and check vesting levels.
Please submit your nominations for the Achievement Award (AA) and Distinguished Service Award (DSA) of the Colorado County Agents Association. All nominations are due by December 1st, annually.
The AA shall be awarded to a specialist with less than 10 years of service in Extension and has exhibited excellence in the field of professional Extension. The DSA shall be presented to a member who has served at least 10 years as a member of Extension, has conducted outstanding programs and is held in high esteem by their fellow workers.
